Startups Using It

Overview

The SaaS Dashboard UI is a fully-featured analytics interface built by our frontend intern team. It was designed from scratch, implemented in Next.js with Tailwind CSS, and is now being used by 3 paying SaaS startups as their customer-facing analytics layer.

The Challenge

The challenge was building a beautiful, accessible, and highly performant UI with no existing design system. Interns had to make real design decisions, write reusable component architecture, and ensure it worked across all screen sizes and browsers.

What We Built

  • Fully responsive dark-mode dashboard with sidebar navigation
  • Recharts-powered analytics graphs (line, bar, pie, area charts)
  • Reusable component library: tables, modals, dropdowns, badges
  • User settings and profile management section
  • Notification center with real-time count badge
  • Optimized for Lighthouse performance score of 96+

Intern Contributions

UI/Frontend Interns (3)

Designed and implemented components, set up Storybook, wrote Tailwind theme system

QA Engineers (2)

Cross-browser tested on Chrome, Firefox, Safari, logged layout bugs, tested responsiveness on 5 screen sizes

Outcome

The project shipped in 8 weeks and was immediately picked up by 3 startups who integrated it into their products. The QA interns identified 11 visual and functional bugs during testing that would have affected paying customers. Two interns from this batch were offered freelance contracts by the startups who used the product.
